HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Tony communicates with all the trainers, about their runners each day, getting the lowdown on their recent work, suitability of conditions and most importantly – what they think about their chances in their upcoming engagement.

There is a genuine trainer quote for every runner our 18 trainers are saddling each day PLUS Tony reads between the lines from what the trainers are saying to supply up to 4 selections.

UP TO 4 RECOMMENDED BETS EACH DAY

Most days there will be at least a Nap and Next best from Tony. On busier days you should also find a 'treble' selection and a long shot bet. Back as singles and throw them in a multi if you want the chance to win big.

RECENT QUOTES

No No Maestro won off a considerably higher mark than today's just under two years ago, but had a poor 2024/25 season and never got in contention on last month's return to action. Hard to fancy, but well handicapped if he finds his mojo.

Midnight Jewel won around here last September but his recent efforts have been disappointingly sluggish. His mark is 5lb lower than for the win, so it's entirely possible if he gets back into that sort of form, he would be a contender.

She Is For Me Boys won an Irish point-to-point at Toombridge last October and has settled well into life with us. She jumps brilliantly and looks the type to develop into a nice chaser in time. She ran very well when 2nd in a valuable novice event at Plumpton, then was a runaway winner over 2m1.5f here last time. The extra distance should suit her nicely and with the best form on offer here, she should take all the beating despite the penalty.

Blue Train is perfectly capable of winning this handicap and I reckon he'll handle the all-weather. It's not a great race but the combination of hood and cheek-pieces tells you he needs all the help he can get. A winning chance, but will he take it?

Regal Envoy has a good draw and Oisin again takes the ride. They were just outpointed here two runs back but made amends last time and Regal Envoy obviously likes the track. I wouldn't want the ground to get any softer but he is consistent and should run well again.
